THE PALAZZO DEL POETA
Domenico Varagnolo, creator and curator of the world’s first archive of contemporary art
was also a playwright and dramatist and collaborated to make the Venice Biennale internationally
prestigious assuming the post of Curator of the archive until 1949.
The 17th century Palazzo, a cultural heritage site of Venice, was totally renovated in 2020,
bringing its ancient beauty to light.
The 2 finely furnished CHARMING ROOMS contain biographical items of Varagnolo with photos, poems and original theater posters from the early 20th century, and each room is absolutely unique.
Ca’ del Poeta is run by Paolo, a descendant of the poet, and Elisa, who will welcome you,
offering you suggestions according to your tastes and showing you itineraries and unusual places to visit.
Staying at the B&B Ca’ del Poeta, you will have the poetic experience of losing yourself in time and
