HOW TO GET HERE

The Boutique B&B Ca’ del Poeta is located in Venice in the historic center. Just a short romantic walk, and in 10 minutes you will be at the Rialto Bridge and in just 15 minutes at the Piazza San Marco, the Palazzo Ducale, and the Ponte dei Sospiri. The nearest vaporetto (water bus) stop is Ca’ d’Oro (line 1) a 2 - minute walk away.

The elegant and refined B&B is convenient for visiting the city of Venice on foot and to get to the Lido and the islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello by vaporetto.

FROM VENICE AIRPORT - MARCO POLO

To get to the B&B Cà del Poeta from Venice Marco Polo airport you have several possibilities

  1. BY BOAT
    Estimated time 70 minutes

    Departure point: from the airport dock take the motorboat ALILAGUNA, LINEA BLU Direction San Marco and get off at “F.TE Nove” (abbreviation for Fondamenta Nove). For timetables and fares see Alilaguna.it
    From there it’s less than 13 - minute walk to the B&B. 
    The walk from “Fondamenta Nove” vaporetto stop to B&B Ca' del Poeta (Cannaregio 3710, Venice) is as follows:
    • F. Te Nove stop: exit the F. Te Nove stop (Fondamente Nove), turn right, then immediately take the first left onto “Salizada dei Spechieri” and continue straight to the canal.
    • Before “Ponte dei Gesuiti” turn right onto “Fondamenta Santa Caterina” and go straight until you reach the last bridge, “Ponte Molin de la Racheta”.
    • Cross “Ponte Molin de la Racheta” and continue straight along “Calle della Racheta”; pass “Ponte Priuli” and keep going straight until “Calle San Felice”.
    • Final approach, turn right onto “Calle San Felice”; just before “Ponte Ubaldo Belli” you will see the “Sottoportego del Tagiapiera” on your right. Take the Sottoportego and at the end you will find house number 3710 — B&B “Cà del Poeta”.


  2. BY BUS
    Estimated time 60 minutes

    From the airport on lane A1 take the ACTV Aerobus No 5 to Piazzale Roma; or take the ATVO Venice Airport Bus Shuttle always in the direction of P. le Roma .

    In both cases, once you get to P. le Roma, take the vaporetto ACTV LINE 1 direction Rialto-San Marco-Lido and after 5 stops, get off at “Cà d’Oro”.

  3. BY OVERLAND TAXI
    Estimated time 40 minutes

    From Venice Marco Polo airport take an overland taxi that will take you to Piazzale Roma. The taxi service at the Marco Polo Airport in Venice is provided by the Radiotaxi Artisan Cooperative if you can’t find the vehicle at the dedicated station, you can book it at + 39 041 5964 (24-hour service). For more details on the rate that will be applied, ask the staff in charge before getting on the vehicle.

    Once in P. le Roma, take the vaporetto ACTV LINE 1 direction Rialto-San Marco-Lido and after 5 stops, get off at “Cà d’Oro”.

  4. PRIVATE WATER TAXI

    You can also reach the boutique B&B Ca’ del Poeta by private water taxi service.

FROM “A. CANOVA - SANT'ANGELO” TREVISO AIRPORT

    From the airport: take the ATVO SHUTTLE BUS (Airport Bus Express)  for Venice P. LE ROMA (Piazzale Roma).
    From Piazzale Roma: board the ACTV vaporetto Line 1 direction Rialto – San Marco – Lido and after 5 stops get off at Cà D'Oro.

  1. FROM THE S. LUCIA TRAIN STATION
    Estimated time 15 minutes

    In front of the Venezia “Santa Lucia” train station, you will find the ACTV stops of the vaporetto. Take the LINE 1 direction Rialto - San Marco-Lido and get off at the 4th stop, “Cà d’Oro”.

BY CAR

For those travelling by car, we remind you that in Venice it is possible to arrive by car parking only in some limited car parks or the alternative is to park your car in one of the many train stations near the city, such as the “Venice Mestre” station and then reach us by train.

The most important parking lots in Venice are: Park Isola del Tronchetto - Park Comunale - Park San Marco.

  1. PARCHEGGIO ISOLA DEL TRONCHETTO
    Estimated time 40 minutes

    This parking lot is the most convenient in the city but the farthest for getting to the center.

    Park your car in the parking lot on the “Isola del Tronchetto” in Venice, located at the end of the “Ponte della Libertà” (visit www.tronchettoparking.it/en).

    After you leave the car, head towards the STOP ACTV and take the vaporetto ACTV LINE 2 direction Rialto and get off at the 3rd stop, PIAZZALE ROMA. Then take the vaporetto ACTV LINE 1 direction Rialto - San Marco - Lido and get off at the 5th stop, “Cà d’Oro”.

WALKING ROUTE FROM THE CA D’ORO STOP TO THE B&B

  1. WALKING ROUTE FROM THE CA D’ORO VAPORETTO STOP TO THE B&B
    Estimated time 2 minutes

    Once you arrive with the ACTV Line 1 vaporetto at the final stop of “Cà d’Oro”, get off and walk along the narrow “Calle Cà d’Oro” to reach the wide “Strada Nova”.

    Turn left and after 65 feet (20 meters), on the right you will find a small courtyard called “Corte dei Pali già Testori” with a well and a fountain.

    Cross it and, at the end, turn left into “Calle San Felice”, just before the small bridge “Ubaldo Belli”. On the right, there is an underpass that runs along the canal (Sottoportico del Tagiapiera). Walk through it completely and, at the end, at number 3710, you will find a brown door. You’re here!
